The Challenge
Angkasa (the national space agency) needed a CMS back end to power its new Angkasa.gov.my website, which featured a fully Flash-based front end. The CMS needed to serve content and database access to the Flash layer while providing publishing workflow, community, and content management features.
Our Solution
ME-Tech developed the back-end CMS using open-source technology on Linux, MySQL, PHP, and AJAX — with key components including content publishing workflow management, forum, blogging, and voting engines. The CMS connects to the Flash-based public front end to serve all dynamic content.
Results
Delivered within four months. The Angkasa.gov.my website launched with a dynamic CMS-powered back end supporting the high-impact Flash front end that presented Malaysia's space programme to the public.
