As part of a consortium appointed by Skali Web Services, ME-Tech developed and managed the official websites for ten Perak state municipal and district councils (Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan) on a J2EE Liferay portal platform.

The Challenge
Ten Perak state municipal and district councils each needed a professional online presence. Skali Web Services required a partner to develop and manage these government portals at scale on a J2EE Liferay platform.
Our Solution
ME-Tech joined a consortium of partners appointed by Skali Web Services to build and manage the portals for ten councils including Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh, Majlis Perbandaran Manjung, Majlis Perbandaran Taiping, Majlis Daerah Tanjong Malim, and six others — all built on J2EE Liferay with Linux, MySQL, and AJAX.
Results
All ten Perak council websites were successfully delivered and managed, giving each authority a digital presence serving their local communities.
