The Challenge

Telekom Malaysia wanted a high-impact viral campaign on Facebook. They needed a custom application that could leverage Facebook's social graph to reach as wide an audience as possible through organic social mechanics.

Our Solution

ME-Tech built the Facebook application on Linux, PHP, Apache, MySQL using Facebook's proprietary API. The app gave each member a virtual RM1 Million and encouraged them to send wacky virtual gifts to friends — creating a viral sharing loop that drove organic reach.
